Cedar Point is the only Cedar Fair park that differentiates between the types of meals guests can get on the various meal plans. Guests who purchase an All-Day dining plan or those with a Cedar Fair season pass with the All-Season dining plan get a handful of benefits at Cedar Point.
For example, All-Day and All-Season dining plan guests get to eat at the Dive In (formerly Celebration Station, where as those that purchase a single meal deal do not.
We recently decided to try the brat meal combo at the Dive In. The meal combo includes a bratwurst on a bun, as well as a bag of Shearer’s classic potato chips.
Typically a brat costs $6.59 at Dive In. While it is not the best value to use a meal credit towards a brat combo at the Dive In, the sandwich is really good, with a nice, crispy skin. The bun could be improved on, as the several times we have tried the brat, even with a light coating of ketchup, the bun disintegrated and did not hold the sandwich together.
As is typical at Cedar Point, we would really like to see the side options improved upon in lieu of the chips. In addition to offering a more substantial salad, consider offering various cold options like freshly prepared coleslaw (not the premade version), potato salad, or pasta salad.
With the abundance of new foot traffic around Celebration Plaza in 2016, the menu could really be improved upon to make this location stand out.
