Buckaroo’s Burritos opened in 2017 in FrontierTown in what is now known as Miss Keat’s Smokehouse, after being rebranded to better fit the menu that was already being served there.
For 2018, Buckaroo’s Burritos was moved up to the front of the park in what was formerly the Burger Patio.
Buckaroo’s Burritos is similar to the Chipotle concept, where guests build their own burritos. Choices include filling a large 18″ flour tortilla shell or a bowl with a variety of options.
One thing we love about Buckaroo’s Burritos is that it is quite easy to make a vegetarian or vegan burrito with a variety of toppings.
Options include pinto and/or black beans, white rice, a variety of meat options, lettuce, tomato, several salsas, cheese, queso, sour cream, and hot sauces.
We would love to see the salads be served in the crunchy taco bowls or each meal include a side of tortilla chips, specifically with a bowl option. The meals could also be made a lot better with some grilled fajita vegetables like peppers, onions and mushrooms. Just please do not cook them in dairy to remain vegan friendly!
