The Kings Island Peanuts Celebration kicked off June 1 and runs through June 17, 2018. This limited time event offers unique decorations, shows, character meet-and-greets, and of course special menu items.
The new #KIPeanutsCelebration is similar to the Knott’s Berry Farm Peanuts Celebration held back in January that we really enjoyed!
Passholder Preview Party
If you are a season passholder, then you need to get to the park on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the Peanuts Celebration!
Guests are given the opportunity for exclusive ride time on select rides throughout Planet Snoopy. It’s also the perfect time to meet some of your favorite Peanuts characters like Snoopy or for the first time, Pigpen!
Get a Snoopy balloon art made or let the kids play bean bag toss or try their hand at a stick horse obstacle course and win cute prizes.
Do not forget to stop and grab some of the complimentary food options including Linus’ Fresh Fruit, Good Grief Donuts featuring powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, glazed, or maple bacon options, plus a juice and yogurt bar.
The cost of the Passholder Preview Party is…FREE! Yes, food, games and the entire experience is free for season passholders and a great opportunity to visit Kings Island!
Kings Island Peanuts Celebration Food
As we always say, any event goes better with great food options, and the #KIPeanutsCelebration is no different.
Pigpen Nachos (Hank’s Mexican Grill)
Hank’s Mexican Grill happens to be one of our favorite food options when visiting Kings Island. So we were very excited to see they are offering a special #KIPeanutsCelebration Pigpen Nachos.
The classic tortilla chips are covered with grilled chicken, pulled pork, and spicy beef and then topped with beans, salsas and veggies. Grab an extra napkin because these nachos are delicious!
Peppermint Patty Funnel Cake (International Street Funnel Cake)
Wait until you try this limited time funnel cake? A traditional powdered sugar funnel cake is topped with chocolate sauce, whipped cream, crushed peppermint and a real peppermint patty.
Pigpen Burger (Jukebox Diner)
Are you ready for the ultimate challenge? We are really happy to see Kings Island introduce this mammoth sandwich for the Peanuts Celebration! A traditional bacon cheeseburger is topped with chicken fingers and a hotdog, then skewered with onion rings!
The Pigpen Burger is only available through June 17, so be sure to grab yours before they are gone.
Chuck’s Burger (Planet Snoopy Grill)
A burger that would make Charlie Brown proud! A bacon cheeseburger is topped with onion rings and barbecue sauce.
Charlie Brown Ice Cream (Planet Snoopy Ice Cream, Rivertown Funnel Cake)
Try a classic twist ice cream cone paying homage to Charlie Brown.
Charlie Brownies, Charlie Brown Crispy Treats, and Peppermint Patty Cookies (Sweet Spot)
Get your sweet tooth satisfied with limited time Peanuts Celebration treats at the Sweet Spot. Charlie Brownies, Charlie Brown Crispy Treats, and Peppermint Patty Cookies are both perfect snacks to enjoy with your family and friends.
Charlie Brown Cotton Candy
Various food stands around the park are offering Charlie Brown themed cotton candy that is flavored banana.
Woodstock’s Granola
Woodstock is getting in on all the good eats by offering his own signature granola, available at select grab-and-go locations around the park.
Sally’s Cotton Candy Cupcakes
Visit select locations around the park and pick up these delicious treats!

Peanuts Celebration Entertainment
The Kings Island Peanuts Celebration offers exclusive new shows and special exhibits you will not want to miss.
For starers, the former Enchanted Theater is back again as a show venue, as the Carnevil Haunt maze has been removed. Guests will get the opportunity to see a historical display of the Life of Charles Schulz and the Peanuts characters. Plus take part in the Peanuts Sketch School and learn to draw your favorite charaters.
All day long there are special shows and character meet-and-greets from International Street and Festhaus to Planet Snoopy. See the official schedule on the Kings Island website.
Stop over by Sally’s Crafts and create your own keepsake gifts to take home.
We can not say enough how much we LOVED the Peanuts Celebration! There is so much for families to see and do that it is well worth your time to head down to Kings Island now though June 17.

Are any these special offers really the burgers and nachos available on the all season dining plan?
No all Peanuts Celebration food items are associated with a special event and thus not included on dining plans.
