This will be our third year attending the special food events at Carowinds, and they continue to get better and better each season. Carowinds has announced a new event for 2018, the Great Carolina Fest.
Running daily June 9-24, 2018, the Great Carolina Fest will offer not only a food festival type event, but also for the first time opens up the park to new limited time menu options that are available for Carowinds dining plan members!
The new Great Carolina Fest promises more photo opportunities and specialty menu items, though this season with a little twist. While in the past there had been a push to consolidate and create more of a festival atmosphere in front of Harmony Hall, the Great Carolina Fest will be spread out around the park and includes existing food locations.
2018 Carowinds Great Carolina Fest Tasting Card Menu
Guests can purchase a special $25 tasting card that gets them 6 mix or match samples from the tasting booths spread out around Celebration Plaza (in front of Harmony Hall). Booths are open 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Taste of the Carolinas lasted three seasons: 2015, 2016 and 2017.
In 2015 and 2016, we had the Carowinds Bands, Brews and BBQ.
In 2016, we also had the Carowinds Brewfest.
